One guy in his fifties, starting over — and figuring out that getting older doesn't have to mean getting lonelier.

The Confession Lane
“After 35 years in entertainment and media, I came back home to Central Florida to rebuild from scratch: new town, new life, no map.”
So I bought a Disney pass, started pointing a camera at myself, and made myself get out the door. This is the confession lane: alone vs. lonely, starting over after 50, and what it actually takes to build real connection when you're beginning again.
Some weeks I'm wandering Magic Kingdom by myself. Some weeks it's a trail or an errand I almost skipped. But it's always honest.
If you're on the mend too, you're not watching from the outside. Pull up a chair. Tell somebody else in the comments where you're starting over from — that's the whole point.
